Here I am!

Hi there everyone,

This is my first blog. I am a Medical Practitioner who completed his medical studies from St. John's Medical College, Bangalore. Since my childhood, the writing world has fascinated me. Ever since I have been constantly in search of newer ways to get to other people.

My first instance of a trend towards writing was in the form of mini essays I wrote in my free hours at school. This triggered me to find newer ways to get to know people - I began conversing with other people through hand-written letters. To date, I have written thousands of letters that prove the die hard belief I have for the written word. Then, my next quest was to find a niche to publish myself. I began writing poems, articles for magazines and newspapers and following up with a personal diary of events.

When finally I knew about the internet and its tremendous potential in the mid 90's I began to write emails and chat with friends over the internet. I was an ardent fan of blogging when it began to appear on the net, following up interesting blogs on a day to day basis. This kept me interested in starting my own blog and may be my own website someday.

In December 2008, a new opportunity dawned to me in the form of Elance. I started off with a basic membership doing small oddball jobs for petty dollars. This started off well and I began to bid on bigger and better projects landing me a few of them. I encourage all my friends who have a flair for writing and some spare time to go right ahead and begin a new life.
